He is an expert practitioner in infrastructure financing and urban planning. He hold a degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the Bandung Institute of Technology.

He is the New Zealand Trade & Enterprise advisor for trade and investment.
Cutrently he is the Chair of The Indonesian Planning Ethics Board, Indonesian Association of Urban & Regional Planners. He also sits in the Advisory Board of the School of Architecture, Planning & Policy Development, Bandung Institute of Technology.

Globally he is active as Vice President of EAROPH (Eastern Region Organization for Planning and Human Settlement) an UN affiliated organization, and Fellow/Faculty at Salzburg Global, a leading globalization think tank based in Salzburg Austria. He is also the Sustainability & Development Fellow with the Australia Indonesia Center based in Melbourne
